Meiyang Chang and Raghav Juyal Will Host Rising Star

In and Out of Rising Star:
'Rising Star' is India's first live singing reality show airing on Colors TV channel from 4 February  2017. Here the best singer is chosen in a unique way that depends on the format of the show. The Contestants have to perform live that is followed by live voting from the viewers. Earlier, the show has been conducted in several countries like Russia, USA, Indonesia, Israel, etc. and is now finally held in India. Meiyang Chang and Raghav Juyal are the hosts of the first season of Rising Star.

Meiyang Chang:

Meiyang Chang is an Indian actor and a singer of Chinese descent who was born on born 6 October 1982 in  Dhanbad. Meiyang is also a television host of many shows like 'Apsara Awards' (2009), 'Indian Idol 5' (2010), and  'India's Got Talent 3' (2011). Currently, he is a co-host of the first season of the singing show 'Rising Star' (2017). Chang got his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) degree from V.S. Dental College & Hospital, Bangalore.He has played a supporting role in the film 'Badmaash Company' (2010). Chang has also acted in the Salman Khan starring super hit movie 'Sultan'(2016).  In 2010, he won Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4. Some of his music projects include 'Kuch Dino Se', 'Move On', 'Yaaron Ki Yaari' and 'Saara Zamana'.

Raghav Juyal:

Raghav Juyal is a dancer, an actor, choreographer, and a great anchor who was born on 10 July 1991 in Dehradun. He is well-known as the 'King of Slow Motion'  for his surreal dance moves in slow motion style. Raghav got recognition through the Zee TV's show 'Dance India Dance 3'(2012). He was the captain of the team which was declared the winner in the show 'Dance Ke Superkids'. He played a crucial role in the  Bollywood movie 'Sonali Cable' (2014). He appeared as Raghav (Crockx) in the film 'ABCD 2' (2015).  Juyal is the host of TV shows like 'Dance Plus' (2015) and 'Dance Plus 2' (2016). Currently, he is a co-host of the first season of the singing show 'Rising Star' (2017).
